I · Initial purge

Count the small gauges reading red and open the matching valve:

None red: the leftmost valve.
One red: the valve with the worn-off label.
Two red: the third valve counting from the right.
Three red: none of them; send the operator up and call the engineer.

II · Foot valve

Turns to give the wheel, by the letter stamped on it and the position of the pin:

III · Closing lever

With the foot valve open, read the large gauge and move the lever to the symbol:

Above 4 bar: the round symbol.
Exactly 4 bar: the square symbol.
Below 4 bar: the triangular symbol.

Warning

Every wrong move dumps the accumulator and the water gains twenty-five seconds. Ask whatever you need before ordering anything: asking costs eight.
