The sample cloth has to be repeated. The loom has four shafts and the threading is already done: every warp end is tied to the shaft it belongs to.
On each pick you decide which shafts rise. The ones that rise show the warp; the ones that stay down show the weft.
A shaft loom does not draw: it is programmed. The warp ends are tied to four frames and, on every throw of the shuttle, the frames you raise decide which ends stay on top. The sample cloth is right there; what is missing is the plan that says what to lift on each pick.
